Hi there,
This is awesome. I will actually pull something together on this and share it with FGB. For you, I will share that a tool that I utilize to help others build confidence is called POWER Statements.
We all know about affirmations, and those are great, but they have their place. I find affirmations to be more about feelings versus facts.
POWER Statements, are statements that are factual! Regardless of the day, time or how you feel, there is no changing this fact.
Example: I completed my MBA with a concentration in Marketing & Leadership.
Whether you feel great about yourself today or not so great, this fact remains the same.
Activity: POWER Statements
Take some time to yourself, about 30mins or less.
Open a blank document or screen or if you'd like to write.
Think about all the things that you are most proud of that you've accomplished. This is not only restricted to your career, raising children, volunteering or any other efforts are just as powerful if not more.
Now, list at least 10 POWER Statements of your proudest accolades.
Once this is complete, I recommend putting this somewhere you can see it and read it at least once every day for the next week. I usually suggest in the morning so that it can set the tone for your day.
Hope this was helpful.
Best regards,
Coach Olivia
