t candidates are turning down jobs or taking other positions because hiring teams can’t decide.

Let’s face it, candidates are people and people are not perfect. Hiring managers, get over yourselves - please stop looking for the perfect candidate. There is no perfect candidate. Let’s work on hiring qualified and teachable. How about that? There are plenty of right candidate fits out there but hiring managers / companies are so consumed with over thinking and over analyzing that they’re paralyzing themselves from making hiring decisions.
FGBsers on the job search - don't let a company's hiring process stump you. This is your time to interview them too. Your experience in the process is critical and if they're holding on you - move on!! Go somewhere where your time is valued and your qualifications are unriva

I really loved the job fair we had today, very useful, and made some new connections.
I advise others to attend the next event.

Sending positive vibes to everyone!
Just felt like the community could use a sprinkle of encouragement today.
I may not know your exact situation but I wanted YOU to know that I SEE you and I'm PROUD of you. I know it's a weird time (a lot is going on) but you've got this. Breathe through it and DON'T GIVE UP.
You are capable.
You are supported.
You are valued.
You are loved.
You are needed.
You are powerful.
You are light.
You are amazing.
I hope everyone has a good rest of the week.

I am new to this website!! :) I am looking for a remote opportunity! I don't want just another job I want a Career, a future, somewhere I can develop and move up. I am dedicated, loyal, detail oriented, etc. I don't have a lot of experience, but I am willing to learn and work hard at anything I do, I have an open availability as well. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

to add to the 4 months notice denied PTO
I am loyal and been with the company for more than 25 years ; good attendance and employee of the month and season too.
I think he should cut me a slack and approve it. ( still on the works but made me really upset )

Hi, long story short; my 4 months advanced PTO request was denied because it was blackout dates.
I found out only that it was blackout dates after my request was sent thru email. Manager mentioned that it was broadcast in a meeting in July and thru the department. Not ALL associates attend the meeting due to scheduling and this manager did NOT tell us in our department. I first ask my co worker if he knew of the blackout dates ; and he said NO.
Do I have a chance to go to HR . Airline ticket was already bought too.

Over the last few months, my supervisor has been cancelling one-on-one meetings or making them very brief, spends more time working from home, has stopped spontaneous check-ins with me, and is taking a day or two PTO on a regular basis.
Two days ago, I found a reply email in a shared inbox thanking them for applying for a position. Since it looks like they're getting ready to resign, how do I prepare myself for what seems the inevitable change headed my way?
