I was recently impacted by a limited restructure at Cisco Systems. Any thoughts on good head hunters I can negate to help with vetting possible job opportunities as well as doing more of the extensive searching required. Thanks.

Best advice is to update your LinkedIn profile and resume.

Re: your request for "good headhunters" - Recruiters tend to specialize within job types or industry, see who reaches out to you because they have a viable job open or network with others in your industry to see who is placing people.

As a general rule, recruiters don't find jobs for people - they find people for jobs.

I recommend you run searchs for recruiting firms that have an IT practice or run searches for positions you're interested in and then reach out to the recruiter. You don't say what level you are, if you're in senior leadership, you'd probably be looking for an executive retained search firm like Korn Ferry or Challenger, Gray and Christmas.

Should I assume the "negate" in your post autocorrected from engage?
