    Put together some artwork for a nice ad and place it in programs at various artistic venues (theaters, concerts, etc.) I used to sing for a choir, and our ad revenue helped us to pay for the venue costs. This would reach the type of clientele you would need to get a good "word of mouth" reference chain going. Larger venues will charge more than the smaller local theater leagues and choirs for the ads, so figure out what you can afford and go for it. Also flyers at various venues that wouldn't compete with you would also be a good idea (another person suggested bridal shops).
