Do I ask for feedback from my boss’s boss? What should I ask?

My regional director (my boss’s boss) is leaving the company. I’ve had limited contact with him, since he’s not based in our office and we only get monthly meetings as a team with him, but he was my last interview when I joined the company. I’m thinking about asking for a 1:1 with him before he leaves, to ask for recommendations on how to be more strategic in my job. Should I do it?
