I wrote a book called "Renovate Your Reality: Thriving in Midlife with Joy and Authenticity...A Woman's Journey."

I'm a certified life coach and positive psychology practitioner with a master's degree in organizational management. Most of my career background is wrapped around the event industry in some way or another. I've been dabbling in the coaching industry since 2021. I'm looking for tips on the best ways to develop paid speaking and workshop facilitation opportunities. I have done a couple through my network, but I need to branch out.

I'm partnering with my local library system to host workshops so perhaps try there? I do live near a big city so they have an extensive library system and do pay but I know this isn't the case for all libraries. Good luck!

Consider looking at your alma mater and see if they have an HR series. Many times within HR at big colleges/universities, they hire outside contractors to lead classes. I've been in them and appreciate hearing perspectives from those who do not work there. Look at your City and see if they hire outside contractors to lead HR Org seminars for their employees. Branching out is uncertain as I don't know where you've been, but using your network's network. Who are they connected to that sparks your interest in helping others. Also, consider joining your local SHRM organization. There may be connections there who may bring you into their org via HR to speak to employees. Good luck to you!

I would submit pitches to nationally known conferences for the fall and winter to enhance your resume, consider doing podcast, webinar or Ted talk-style programs as well to showcase your skills and book. There are several platforms where speakers can promote themselves. Also tap your conference network and see if your content would appeal to professional associations with a large makeup of women, like HR, real estate, administrative professionals or legal administrators. They often have sessions that focus on life management topics.

Congrats on this major accomplishment! Consider pitching/presenting to women’s professional associations, women’s centers, and even church/religious groups. Once you get out there connections will grow! ?
