    Maybe try HR Training?

Look for large companies that do their own in house training

Something learning and development (typically housed within the HR function). Find some job descriptions for those type of positions and see what your experience can translate to. I feel like over the last several years, there have been many teachers looking to make this transition, and likely you can find coaches out there specifically to assist you with this.

We have recently hired a few former teachers into Client Success Manager roles in the tech company that I work for. We have found that teachers often have the skillsets of empathy, patience, problem-solving and communication that is beneficial in a role that works directly with customers in a strategic way. I'm not sure if you've explored Client Success Manager or Client Support roles but if you do, would mention these skillsets if they apply to you. Good luck!

Thank you for understanding but this is way to generic of an ask. Without knowing you will want to connect your skillset to the role you're seeking, however, you may think you can do the role without experience, and they won't. Consider looking at a lesser role to grow into the role you think you want.

Have you looked into Ed Tech? There are lots of small companies/start ups in the education sector looking for people to do curriculum development and other jobs where a teaching background would be helpful. You could also look into corporate training, exec coaching or even Exec Asst, depending on your interests and strengths. If there are any charities/non profits you volunteer with (or would like to) see if they're hiring. If there's anything you have expertise in (if you were a math teacher for example) check into careers in that field. Tailor your resume to focus on your transferable skills (time management, conflict resolution, curriculum delivery) and any awards/certifications/recognition you got during your career.

I'm not sure what your teaching specialty is but it could very well translate to higher ed. In that they have HR training departments in which you may fit in well. Or look to work at a business school within a university as corporate translates well there. I work for one and though we are higher ed it is very much run like a business. They may need adjunct faculty to teach business related courses, or career prep courses. Lots of opportunities in higher ed. I mention it all the time and it's so much safer than corporate (I've worked in both for years).

You should first evaluate what key elements of teaching has caused your dissatisfaction with the education field so that you don’t consider jobs that have those same elements. Now as far as moving from being an educator to the actual field of working, your choices are many even if you limit yourself to areas of opportunity in the subject areas you taught. A teaching position has many job skills that fit many fields, especially those that require organizational and development skills. You could as suggested become part of the training program for an organization that needs their employees to follow a standard performance level. You could also consider looking into utilizing your presentation skills to consider jobs in marketing. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of opportunities for changing your career path.
