My coworker is a snake and takes every, and I do mean EVERY, opportunity to undermine me and my work in front of our boss.
Meanwhile this is the same coworker who is ONE tardy/absence away from being fired but seems to manage getting chance after chance after chance. The nail in the coffin for me was that she managed to talk our boss into allowing her to undo all of the progress I have been working on with a filing system that we have at work. I already feel under valued but I have no current job prospects at the moment. Help, me, please.

Hi Anonymous. It does suck when people use their energy in this way. If speaking to your boss or HR is not an option, can you move to a different business/department in the same company? Otherwise, document any unprofessional or bullying behavior you experience from this coworker. You'll also want to document your work and progress should your contribution be questioned. Lastly, if you feel undervalued and are in an environment with a colleague out to sabotage your work, I'd start looking for another job. Make the job search your priority. Good luck!
