   Quite the opposite for me. I applied with AI customized resumes and cover letters to 5 six figure + jobs and received responses from 3 with 2 weeks and another 3 weeks. I'm in operations and managed my job search with a plan drafted with AI of targeted companies with AI customized resumes. I worked WITH Ai as a tool not a sole source so my results were very rewarding. I prepped fir interviews and assignments with its help as well and landed 2 really great offers. Start to finish i was unemployed for 8 weeks. So im a big fan of AI. In a tough market it has really helped me and several friendsof mine.

   If you're able to learn to use AI to your advantage by using it to tailor your resume, cover letter, interview prep, email templates etc while leaning into networking you'll have a more successful experience. Most people don't leverage the power of AI in the job search process to its fullest potential instead using generic prompts and getting generic output. The key learn some prompt engineering so you feel as though it is a partner in your job search. And of course, networking and connecting is still vital as recruiters and hiring managers are inundated with applications and having someone come referred is a HUGE plus!
