I have two interviews coming up, but I have a feeling that my lack of confidence is showing through, as my last several interviews were not successful. How do you fake it until you make it? The fact that you are getting called in for interviews means you've already beaten out tens if not hundreds of other candidates. The company already sees something in you they want to hire. Let that give you confidence! Also, take the job description and your resume and ask AI to give you potential interview questions - there's a high probability at least some of them will be asked. Have some go to situations in mind for those tell me about and behavioral questions i.e tell me about a time you managed multiple projects at the same time, describe a time where you made a mistake and what you learned from it - those type of questions. Use the PAR method as a roadmap (Problem, Action and Result). Realize that the people you are meeting that day are just that people. I know this sounds weird but I think about what they looked like the morning of the interview when they woke up - jammies on, morning breath, crazy hair - it just helps to humanize them. Look at is as a conversation (which it is) rather than an interrogation. Good luck - remember they want to hire you so just be your amazing self and make their decision a no brainer!

I’m an educator looking to transition to a higher paying position.. interviewing has always had my stomach in shambles.. and to say the least I’m a nervous wreck. But I lead with my skills , my years in education and why I love what I do. I usually find that once I start talking I get less nervous and anxious. As I write this my stomach is in knots as I have an interview Monday morning.

so start with how your skills align with the role, years of experience and what you will bring to the team.

    Best of luck.

I like to try to give very concise and punchy answers to maximise impact in the interview

Interview success often comes down to preparation, confidence, and clear communication. Practice answering common questions and researching each company thoroughly. Dress appropriately and show enthusiasm. Body language matters, so maintain eye contact and smile. If you’re still struggling, visit https://onewayinterview.com/ for practical tools and guidance. Reviewing your performance and asking for feedback can also help you improve with each experience.
