I read in a recent post/article with a recruiter how it is an automatic "no" for a candidate to trash their current or previous employer. I do agree on principle, but how do you handle describing a toxic work environment and how that is your primary reason for leaving? I've been using "Change of Sr. Leadership", and "I don't agree with the direction the company is going" but both of these seem too mild.
I am successful in my position, but spend too much time tip-toeing around co-workers just to try to keep the peace and not be labeled as "difficult".
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
