What has happened to this community? It's all bots/AI & spammers? Was the whole community hacked? It's completely destroying the usefulness of the community. Admin, if they still exist, need to clean it up.

   It could be so simple to run an AI program that looks for spam and then delete it or blocks new users , but the people that run this board have not figured it out yet.

   A fully moderated list would do the same thing. I used to moderate a mailing list/listserv way back when. No need for AI. If FGB wanted to hire me to do that, I'd be happy to take it on as a side hustle and check the site a few times a day.

   I like the idea, but AI can do it for free and in seconds. They don't want to pay a human to manually review something that a system- based script can do 24/7 with zero errors.

   If AI can do it for free, then there's no excuse for them not to employ it here. It shows how little they care about keeping the quality of this site up. Ever since FGB was sold to The Muse, this site has gone downhill. The original creators took the money and ran once the site stopped being profitable.

   It's really sad, I used to read everyday. Now it's pretty much useless because of the spamming.

   They may not have the manpower or money to "vet out" the spams and bots. If nothing changes, people will stop visiting and FGB will go the way of Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox...a faint memory.

   The only time they seem to pay attention to this site is when they are promoting one of those quarterly "resume drops" or the rare webinars on career topics. The resume drops are just a fancy name for data mining, since not one person can say they've gotten a job that way. Even the career webinars have almost entirely disappeared, unless they're to promote a specific company.
