A Driver's License # Required on an application???

Okay-Why would this be required to apply for a job? I get it if we're in a background check phase because you've made an offer and as a form of identification if I've accepted an offer, but how is this still acceptable? This is an online application for a senior manager role.

It is NOT required unless it’s a scam. Stay away. There are so many out there.
