Additional Certifications
Looking for a bit of advice... Here is some quick history to provide perspective.
I was a marketing and communications director in a healthcare system for over 10 years. I left due to a toxic environment. I then landed a comms job within the government sector but after six months, I was deemed "non-certified," aka let go. I knew I would leave the state job, so I actively pursued different opportunities, as it was a stepping stone away from my previous position.
I can collect unemployment benefits, which takes the financial edge off a bit, so that's great. I also found out that I am eligible to take advantage of some classes or get an additional certification at no cost to me.
I want to stay in healthcare marketing/communications only because I am most familiar with it now but I would move to a different industry if needed. The program only allows for one certification, so I must choose based on what I think would be most valuable.
I have the following certifications now:
Corporate and crisis communications
DEI
Digital Marketing Fundamentals
Adobe Indesign and Photoshop (I never really used this as I had contracted designers, so I need to improve in this area).
What certification would be most beneficial if I am looking to stay in some aspect of Marketing/Comms/Sales.... Is it Project Management, Google Analytics, AI, or should I go back and redo the Adobe Creative? I'm open to all opinions, and I appreciate all opinions and thoughts!
