I just looked over my performance reviews from 3 and 4 years ago. I reported to a manager named Ann at the time. The reviews say I reported to my present manager Lisa, who did not work in the company 3-4 years ago. Why would my employer change the name of who I reported to 3 and 4 years ago?

    The reviews were not changed at all. Only the name of the manager was changed. I don’t understand why the name of a manager was changed.

    Just a data input error it sounds like. No malice intended.

    If it is an online performance management system, sounds to me like they have it set up incorrectly (it is syncing the current manager to completed reviews). Let your IT team know .

    It's just a glitch in the program. Not a big deal really.

    This is great advice, both for the reach out verbiage and making a copy. Our reviews are all online, saving off a personal copy is something simple if you feel it is necessary.

    Too many variables, I don't think it's a big issue if someone was reviewing past performance reviews.
