I am the lowest paid finance analyst at my job. I do more than some of my teammates. I am trying to gather data to ask for a raise without comparing my salary to my peers. What is the best market place research I can look up and present when discussing with my boss?

Salary.com and payscale.com offer salary data. Professional associations sometimes do salary surveys as well. And yes, some job postings will include the salary range.

You can also try information interviewing with other financial analysts and ask generically what the salary range is for people in your position and level. You can start with LinkedIn (check out your university's alumni page) to find folks to talk to. Good luck.
