One way to navigate the transition in jobs would be to have (and express) gratitude for the current job and what you have learned. People do grow, which is good, and often the current job does not allow for that growth. Job searching should start on the side while you are still at the company where you currently are - which would mitigate some fear from a financial perspective. Guilt is something you have to deal with, but most organizations realize that you may have outgrown your current job without additional opportunities within the company, and if you look at many resumes, you will see that people often stay less than about four years or so; probably in an area like mine in Silicon Valley, considerably less, due to company restructuring, relocating, changing direction, and a lot of other matters unrelated to an employee's individual decision. I have often met colleagues that are very good at their areas of expertise and have been in four to five companies in the course of their career.
Hope some of this helps with ideas of how to cope with the fear and guilt of job change. Wishing the best - You will never know when even a greater opportunity exists if you never explore, and think about what you and that other company would be missing out on!
