Most corporations just want you to have a degree in general. 80% of people do not work in the field their degree is in. This is normal. Expect higher competition from individuals who have a degree in the field you're applying in, but remember that soft skills, aptitude, and willingness are as much a part of interviews as a degree. Keep at it and you'll do fine. All you need is your foot in the door and the next role is much easier to obtain.
