Poor management from the start where the supervisor fell asleep in his cube was a red flag. Being asked to take another supervisor/manager role when the person was still in the job. There were red flags everywhere and I needed the job so I ignored my gut from the get go. Once I got in, my gut was right. Left for a much better and higher paying job. Thankful that experience is long past and in my rearview mirror.

A couple of red flags from the worst company I've worked at:

    People crying in their cubicles.

One person scream-quitting their way down the hallway after being berated for not working more hours all the while they had been working +80 hours a week for months.

Leadership quoting bible verses to support their business practice of screwing over customers.

Learning at one customer support manager moved to another state to work at the company's new location and that location was never going to be opened! The staff member sold their house, pulled their kids out of school and moved to the next state over, all to find that there was no real plan to open that location. Yikes!

After three weeks of working at this place, I started looking for another job and was out of that place in under 3 months.

Once I learned I would be responsible to implement a new system although I had no "Vote or Voice" as part of the vendor selection process - I left 2 months later!

-head of HR fired my first day for embezzlement

-co-worker stealing the items I brought in (coffee mug, pens, etc) from desk and being warned by co-workers they were connected to the mafia and to be careful

-manager wanting me to support something illegal and hazardous to children’s health

    -sexual harassment

    left after 6 weeks
