I am 40 , I have my Engineering and MBA(online) , I taught for an Engineering college in India for around 4 years. After a parenting break i chose to switch my career to Digital marketing in 2014 and did a course on it in person and worked for 2 plus years in start ups as sole Digital Marketer. After coming to United states on dependent VISA i was a stay at home Mom and had my second child. It’s been 7 plus years of parenting break now. I am now authorized to work . I thought of brushing up my knowledge and started with Coursera Digital Marketing course and i did four modules and i found it was so basic so didn’t complete the remaining modules.
With the current job market is it possible for a person with long break get into the field of digital marketing again ?
My interest is primarily on Search Engine Marketing.
I recently checked Digital marketing Institute course DMI expert. Is it worth doing it if I wanted to build my career back in United States ?
Experts and Recruiters can you give me recommendations on what i can start on to get back on my career.
TIA
