Congratulations on your career change and upcoming interviews!
The number one thing that will help you shine despite your nerves is having a centering practice to use when the anxiety tries to take over. It could be Navy Seal Box Breathing or my go-to the Heartmath Quick Coherence Technique (eyes open visualization). If you practice it regularly before your interviews, it will be helpful. To remember to practice, set alarms on your phone.
The second thing is preparation! Practice answering the common interview questions out loud in a mirror or video yourself to ensure your tone and body language match your desired energy level. You can use AI interview tech for a back and forth conversation. You can ask someone with tech recruiting or hiring experience to give you a mock interview or evaluate your answers to key ones. Be careful to only ask people who will be supportive.
Our brains have a negativity bias when we are making big changes. It's work to stay positive. Be sure to put time for laughs and positive social interactions on your calendar throughout your job search. Also, get enough sleep, good nutrition and hydrate to ensure your body is working like expected.
