You likely need a minimum of a BSW to work as social worker.

Since you're still in school, check with your school's career office for job postings, resume creation and leads on potential jobs. Likely you'll need more education (BSW or MSW, so minimum 2-4 years more of school) to work in the field. Your school's career center should have information on university degree programs. If there's an area you're interested in (family services, homeless, geriatrics, etc.) find a job or volunteer work related to that while you're in school. It will give you practical experience on your resume and connections to get a job after you graduate. Social work is a demanding, stressful field. Good luck and keep reaching out to FGB. We're here to help.

Thank you for responding, I have not spoken with them yet they do send out emails with companies hiring but not what I want. I guess it's best I be patient and wait a little longer until I get where I'm supposed to be.

They offer a lot of volunteer work with people with disabilities from what I was introduced to. More interested in the mental health field.
