    I'm so sorry.
I'm glad you are out of that situation.

Hi, sad to hear that. But with those kinds of managers, the earlier you get out of this situation, the better. So maybe it is all for the better. Hope you will find a new job soon.

Your instincts are good. Always obey them. Run!

Your next job is probably waiting. Get busy and apply and, meanwhile, apply for unemployment if you meet your state's qualifications. Even if you don't, you will survive. Also, meanwhile, if you are short of savings, apply for SNAP (food stamps). Those are the easiest to qualify for and often qualify you for other benefits.

I hate this for you, but as others have stated, might be for the best.

I know that doesn't help in the painstaking task of starting over, but I have faith you will bounce back!

If someone requests the presence of a representative from HR or another manager/team lead, but their requests are denied, it could be an indication of an underlying issue. I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through this, and it's not acceptable.

all employment are at will, so you can be terminated at anytime for no reason, best is to raise the issue to the company have them see the risk of litigation then negotiate a good severance pay as a result of this, try to optimize your financial compensation.
