So at my ripe age of 46, I’ve decided to return to school and become a chiropractor! I’m resigning from a position that served me the purpose to buy my home and support my family, and i’m extremely grateful to be given the opportunity, But also working a Customer Success Manager can be VERY stressful. Find your peace, your place and all will follow. I’m still struggling on how I will make ends meet, but I know in my heart, god has bigger plans for me!

Good luck! A co-worker left her chiropractic career to be a software trainer. The chiro work was too demanding.

I was a trainer as well, and the demands of a trainer was pretty overwhelming! Good luck to your friend.

I started university at 43, graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication at 46. Thankfully, my school took life experience into account and allowed me to only do one year of undergrad and then move into the graduate program.

    It is NEVER too late.

Went back to school and switched careers at 43. Work is fun, and the balance in my work/life has decreased my stress. Initially, my pay wasn’t great, but I moved up relatively quickly and now (10 yrs in) make triple what I made when I left my previous job of 20 yrs. Best wishes!
