Is anyone else encountering this?

I've reached the final interviews with several different companies only to be put into a waiting pattern while they either adjust the job description, look to see if they can hire 2 people vs. just the one they originally planned on, etc. Most times I've been told to wait, I've ended up not getting the position. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm just curious if this is a new trend for companies.

    I've experienced the bait and switch a few times.

    My experience mostly is if you're the candidate.......they move fairly quickly to sign you since they don't want to lose you. You just get that feeling you're it.....:-)
