Seeking a career change, I am currently in Child Welfare (and burned out) in a Technical Role.

I have been applying to other industries in a similar role, User Acceptance Testing for a new Child Welfare Platform called CCWIS, but I feel grossly under-qualified and that my resume is a mess.

Our State chose Salesforce as the Platform and I have been working on the first module as a Lead Tester.

I am not sure if I should pay for someone to help with my resume, LinkedIn, etc. and/or connect with a recruiter :(. Feels very defeating.

If you resume "is a mess" start there.

If you can afford to use tips from someone like Andrea, The Career Priestess https://www.thecareerisland.com/about

She also provides job coaching on "transferable skills". However, in the US, your local unemployment office may offer courses free on resume writing and transferable skills.
