Being made redundant today, have been offered another job but it's half the wages I'm on now.

Waiting to hear back from another job this afternoon, which is more money.

Don't know what to do. :-O

If the other job doesn't pan out, I'd take the offer but start looking for something better. Maybe you could try negotiating for something more than half your current salary in the other position?

Keep looking and know your priorities. That's all you can do.

So sorry. You should probably take the low wage job until you receive a better offer. Don't feel guilty AT ALL if you leave with short notice; they haven't treated you well, so if they are left shorthanded, that's karma doing her thing. Take good care of yourself and even though money may be tight, plan something to look forward to every week.

Yeah, think I'm going to need to. Half is better than none. In the meantime another job interview has come in too.

Without any context for who you are or why to contact you? No thank you!

I have taken the job, as heard nothing else. The pressure has been a huge weight off, so glad I did. Thank you all.
