Is it a good sign if you make the interviewers laugh?

Is it a good sign if you make the interviewers laugh? I think they were laughing non-stop. In addition, it seemed they kept nodding at everything I was saying. Thoughts?

A good sense of humor is always great to have. It may take away from the seriousness of the interview, but laughter is always good in the workplace I feel.

In by book, engaged laughter (as long as you're in on the joke) is great. At the end of the day, the interview is about connecting to your interviewers. They want to know what it would be like to work with you, and it sounds like it's fun! Do you feel like you also got good info across about your experience?

What do you think? You were there. We weren't.

What was the vibe? Did it feel positive?

    Yes

Sounds like you possibly had a good interaction / chemistry match with the interviewer. I generally take that feeling as a good sign, but always pause to remember the interviewer is also judging the content of your responses. Fingers crossed for you!

Thank you everyone!! I believe I was still able to show I'm qualified. It was a second round interview.

I actually think these folks are trained give false positivity so that you’ll stay in the hiring process until they either hire you or find another candidate who’s a better fit.

The only good sign is a job offer letter. If you get a job offer letter, then you can celebrate.

    Good luck!

You might have a point about the false hope
