Does anyone know about work from home jobs available?

Does anyone know about work from home jobs available? I have a son who has special needs. I am in college, but no degree yet. Until my son can get all the help and support he needs, I am unfortunately having to stay home to care for him. I need something quickly, as my finances aren't in great shape. Does anyone know of options available? Thank you in advance!!

First, my best to you & your son. Have heart, mama, it will work out! Check this site for jobs that fit your skill set, what do you enjoy doing? talking to people, so maybe call center or answering service (many remote options there), admin assistant, billing, etc? Try flexjobs.com and apply, apply, apply! It is a number game, your time will come but it takes diligence every single day to keep applying and checking messages.

You can go on any job site and put in “remote” as *either* the keyword OR the location. So you do: administrative as the keyword, and put in remote as the location. If that particular site doesn’t allow that and wants a particular location, see if you can search with remote as the keyword and no location. This is the best way to find a wfh job. There are LOTS of scam sites and groups guaranteeing wfh jobs; vet carefully. Google: [company name] scam?

before you apply to anything. Also: remote jobs on LinkedIn are getting slammed with hundreds, sometimes thousands, of resumes for remote work. Gird your loins!

Not sure if this applies in your area but there are some special needs grants and tax credits for parents who are caregivers to special needs kids. We’re in IL and there are a few grants our therapy clinic helped us apply for last fall. (Most just required proof of diagnosis, one grant was specific to therapy equipment and needed specific forms from our OT.) I haven’t tried applying for any funding as the primary caregiver though but maybe other special needs parents or a therapy clinic in your area could help you go that route.
