The hiring manager emailed me asking my availability for an internal job interview. I sent an email with my availability but haven’t received any invites. The interview is supposed to be one day from now. I had to rearrange my current work schedule for this interview. Should I just move on?

I agree with the other reply - reach out to the person who requested your availability. It's possible that they've run into walls trying to align your availability with the interviewer's schedule or, as my daughter experienced recently, they prefer to send meeting invites "the day before so they don't get lost in people's email." Folks who use this "day before" method don't realize the rest of us actually accept invites to populate our calendars! So, definitely reach out with a "Just checking in to make sure I didn't miss the interview invitation in my email. Am I still scheduled this week for [insert date and time] - if that doesn't work, please let me know if you need my availability for next week." Something like that should get a response - hope they respond soon!

Apparently the hiring manager is out of office and she out until the day of the interview. So even sending an email now won’t do me much good as she’s not responding until she’s returning per her out of office reply.

Your sharing of the content is much appreciated. My appreciation for life and my willingness to give it my all are both bolstered whenever I read an essay like this. speedstars
