Hello Ladies,i am a lady who wsnts to get back after raising a family and a gap of almost 13 long years. I am finding it difficult to get back to work as no opportunities are given to ladies at my age when i am fit and upgraded my current skills..Do other women face same issues too or i am unique or incapable

You need new experience so I would consider temp or contract work so you have fresh experience and current references.

What sort of work are you looking for? Agree with the previous commenter about looking for something temp/contract. I would also consider looking at re-entry or return to work programs specifically for mothers. Have you searched for something like that before? A few companies and orgs host events/education certs to help more moms return to work.

Check out this organization: The Mom's Project as a starting point. https://work.themomproject.com/resources/tag/return-to-work

I have tried Volunteer work without any salary, also open to working in a smaller role or beginning fresh.I am open to all kind of work in Human resources, as that is what i am qualified to do. Tried my hands at various interests as i am a bit creative. ,had done my own house designs and then did for a friend but do not have a formal qualification, so tried a short, 1 month fast diploma in designing. I also did some certifications to upgrade my current skills in HR but unfortunately, ageism is real i think I forgot to mention, I am in UAE ,so maybe things are difficult here
