Finally Hired

I’m a 58 year old minority and finally landed a job. I was one of 300,000 black women laid off by the government. I had 4 interviews making it to the 4th and final round and the other candidates were chosen. I’ve applied to soo many jobs.

A minority recruiter from Atlanta was pleased with my credentials and non AI resume. I ended up with 2 easy 15 min interviews. They think I’m a perfect candidate. I start Monday making 187K. I’m flabbergasted!! My last gig was only at 105K. I’m an IT PMP Program Manager. All my hard work and prayers have paid off.

Don’t give up, stay positive, walk daily, believe in yourself, surround yourself with people who believe in you, pray daily and trust the process!

    Awesome. Good for you. I had a panel interview last Tuesday, HR reached out for references last Thursday. I had to provide four (!!?) - All were solid and could attest to my capabilities. Still on edge - awaiting final offer if it comes. Congrats to you - please celebrate if you can, even a decent meal dining out.
