Had an interview on 6/24 which was an HR phone screen to confirm I was OK with being in the office 2x/week and to confirm that I was OK with the salary range. Plus there were about 5 questions asked which I answered to the best of my ability. I sent a follow-up email. There are 2 open positions. I have over 7 years of experience in the industry, and 20+ years experience in the type of role they are hiring for. Typically after HR phone screens, if you "pass" then they set you up for an interview with the hiring manager. How much time should I expect to wait to hear if I'm going to be interviewing with the hiring manager? I'm expecting to wait about 2 weeks due to the upcoming July 4th holiday. Haven't interviewed in a while, what should I expect?

So you had a phone screen on Tuesday? If they are interested in moving you forward, I would think you should hear by now or beginning of this coming week. Have you followed up?

If you're curious simply ask. Send a short, polite follow up email either Monday or Tuesday (because of the long holiday weekend I wouldn't wait any later). Trust me, it's not out of the ordinary for recruiters to get these type of emails!

I think a simple follow-up email is appropriate, knowing you might not get a response right away due to the holiday. Good luck!

I usually recommend asking for the timeline you can expect and any next steps before ending each interview. If you did not get a chance to ask during your call, I would follow up this week via email.
