Where are all the high-paying Administrative jobs?

Where are all the high-paying Administrative jobs? I work for three financial consultants and make 20.00 an hour, while the minimum wage is 17.50 hr. I'm struggling to live on this income. Any suggestions on where I can apply?

There won't really be administrative jobs for higher than that. You can purchase assistance offshore very cheaply and AI and other software has made the need for a lot of what you do automated. You need to make a career plan to increase your salary.

Those jobs have all but disappeared. Things are changing and only certain old school executives are afforded that luxury.

Administrative assistant? Are you looking for remote or in-person. I seem to see a lot of AA roles in my area (NW Ohio) at more than that. In person. Some executive assistant positions significantly higher.

Admins have transitioned over to Project Managers for the most part. It's an antiquated role in most industries, not all, but most. If they have an admin it's like Executive Admin, which is the same thing. You may have an opportunity here and to lean into the project managing roles, learn more about that and you may just benefit. Let's be honest, admins project manage all.day.long.

Not really - I'm a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). It's highly technical, one of the hardest certifications to pass, and deals with managing a team with implied rather than actual power. Using Asana or Trello does not make one a project manager. There's a lot more complexity to it than calling oneself a PM.

Of course there are areas of specialization, but let's not down play what admins desk flow really is, it's transitioned from that mindset. Good job on your certification.

Nope. My job isn't even remote.
