I am at the start of my work re-entry and I'm feeling lost as to what to do for work and invisible to the online job application process. I've had my own home organizing business for about 6 years. I enjoy it and my clients. I am looking to do something less physical from home and add more consistent income. At the same time I am not ready to totally give up my business.

I would love help with a path and a plan and training!

I'm very open to opportunities, flexible, good with people and a fast learner.

I would start listing the things that energise you and your strengths. Next get specific about how many hours you want to dedicate to your current business and a second employed income. This will give you a clearer picture on types of roles that might suit you. Good luck in your job search!

This is a great way to add information to what I am seeking and help me get more clear.

    Thanks so much!

After you do what Evie says below, it may help to look at job descriptions for an idea of what you could do that you would enjoy. If I were doing this, on my first round of these, I would be doing it for research only - no pressure. Then, when I had a better idea of what I wanted, I would research the qualifications needed in order to offer those services, make a plan to fill in gaps, and then apply to any positions you think you would enjoy. If you'd rather work for yourself and now have the skills, depending upon how far your new interest takes you from your current business, you may be able to add these services on or start a second business on the side.

Very helpful! Take the pressure off and think of it more as research and gaining information first. Then take action as far as learning new skills to fill in where I'm lacking.

    Love this!!
