This is so ridiculous (not you of course), but the fact that you have done more than your fair share of going above and beyond to meet in the middle to make amends over something that has nothing to do with your job. I don’t know you personally but I will tell you this me being a Black woman, this is happening because you’re White. I beg you to please not apologize for who you are, especially for the part that you had no control over (race, color, gender). I honestly can’t believe we’re talking about this in 2024 but here we are.?
