I'm nearing my 40s, I've been with this company 8years. I have new colleagues who want to change everything and have 0 experience with this industry.

They aim to have 0 mistakes and when they do happen, they blame those beneath them.

What I want and what I have no longer align. Every few weeks we have these "talks" and I'm severely confused by it. I'm "valued.." however, also my boss: I come down hard on you. How? By making those I interact with feel as those they're being prosecuted and always wrong.

However, I know it's not the case because how did I survive 7 years before them? and 16 years before my employer?

When we choose to talk to people that we work with there are choices we intentionally make. Why choose to be perceived intentionally as a bully?

What is there to gain? Idk
