um age limits? I guess they look foe resumes with nothing on them? I did have one crazy company ask me

what year I graduated college and what my GPA was. I’d graduated obviously over 20 years before

even tho it’s illegal lawyer will do

anything about it because there’s no money in it. Reporting them wont endear them to you and they are a

company that doesn’t value fair play so there you are

What evidence do you have that a company has age limits on applicants?

Are you in the United States? If all they want are young new graduates, and you are an older worker, why would you want to work there? People with broken English and poor grammar are targets these days for ICE harassment, so you may want to work on that.

If you have a degree and job experience, a better place to look is for a company that wants those skills. They exist. I have had problems because I haven't got the right or enough experience, not because they want someone with no experience.

A company that openly screens people for age can be reported to the EEOC anonymously, especially if you have evidence. Did they request dates of graduation in writing?

The vast majority of staffing agencies and companies who are hiring will never ask your age and never require your college graduation date. They are trained to avoid those questions as they will get their company sued very quickly and quite easily. On the other hand, all bets are off when it comes to the interviewing process. There is plenty of "experience discrimination" going on there. More experience beyond 5-7 years is often treated as not worthy of hiring as many hiring managers these days are quite young and are easily intimidated.
