Without knowing what you ARE doing, its tough to answer. A few things that helped me land within 3 months after layoffs:
1. Use the open to work feature only for recruiters (no green banner). I realize this may spark debate but I have never used it.
2. Rewrite your Linked In and resume to focus on results. Its OK to use AI but if you do not provide the right inputs you will get the wrong outputs
3. Make sure your Linked in headline and about section is up to date and clearly demonstrates your value. Include some of your top accomplishments. Your headline is whats searchable so that's how you are found.
4. Network. And have a clear elevator pitch
5. Be mindful of how you post and present yourself on LinkedIn. Comments that are professional, thoughtful, and framed positively are good. Complaints about your job search and stating you are desperate are not good. You want to position yourself as someone with value.
These are things that have worked for me every time. As far as roles applied to during those time frames, I still received a lot of rejection and making it to final rounds and it ended there. The last time around all my final rounds came from 2 networking and 2 who found me on LinkedIn.
