      The WomensConnect, founded in 2011, is a global network of 1,700 women pursuing growth, visibility and opportunities to increase business impact. EWLN focuses on three pillars:

      • Promote and amplify the voice and visibility of Equinix women and highlight their contributions at all levels.
      • Connect and build women’s networks, knowledge, experience and influence to surface new opportunities for themselves and the Company.
      • Empower women and men through development opportunities that create belonging and drive greater business impact.

      The Equinix Employee Connection Network celebrates the diversity within our workforce by encouraging the formation of Equinix Employee Connection Networks with common interests, cultures, or backgrounds. Such networks play an important role in articulating, promoting, and supporting the needs and goals of these communities, including building awareness across all of Equinix. Desiring to promote interconnection across its employees, Equinix supports the formalization of those networks that promote its business objectives and values and exhibit the intent to form bonds across the company globally.

      Founded in 2019 and still nascent, Equinix PrideConnect is a global, grassroots network of 200+ members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies cultivating supportive, positive space for dialogue, learning and community impact. Our goal is to bring people together to connect and learn from each other.

      At Equinix, we offer a competitive and comprehensive benefit program that's designed to help you take care of your health and wellbeing. Our paid parental benefit leave policy helps create a culture and environment that allows you to focus on your most important responsibilities, both at work and at home.

      The Cigna Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies program provides prenatal and child-care education and support throughout your entire pregnancy—and after. If you complete the program, you’ll receive a $500 Visa pre-paid debit card if you enroll during your first trimester and a $250 Visa pre-paid debit card if you enroll in the second trimester.

      Lactation facilities
      Yes, lactation facilities are available in most offices in the U.S. and are compliant with mandated federal, state, or local ordinances.  We have Mother’s Rooms at our regional HQ offices. The facilities provide privacy, comfort and a refrigerator nearby. When we remodel an Equinix office, we always include a Mother’s Room. Our goal is to have Mother’s Rooms at all Equinix sites by 2022.
      Fertility
      Yes, for U.S. employees, infertility benefits include covered services for Assisted Reproductive Technology: lab tests, counseling, artificial insemination, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), GIFT and ZIFT. Cigna: $20,000 maximum per lifetime. Kaiser: Limited to one cycle. This benefit is extended to male employees for their covered spouses or partners.
      Care-taking benefits
      Overview

      Telemedicine benefits available: Have a nagging cough, a child with a high fever or need a prescription refilled? Sometimes it can be challenging to find time to make an appointment for non-emergency medical care. That’s where telemedicine benefits come in. Available 24/7, this free service for non-emergency, virtual medical and behavioral health visits with a physician can be done via web, email or phone to receive care at your convenience.

      Yes, PTO is all inclusive and may be used for vacation, personal time off, sick days or time off to care for family members.
      Elder care
      Yes, Equinix Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers highly experienced counselors who undertake confidential and professional counseling and consulting locally in your area. Additionally, PTO is all inclusive and may be used to care for family members.
