- For Physicians and Executives, there is 6 weeks of paid maternity leave and an additional 6 weeks of UNPAID disability/vacation days that can be used to make a 12 week maternity leave. Only 6 weeks ends up being paid. Pretty weak if you ask me.
- It’s true. Northwell Health pays absolutely nothing to new mothers. Not a single penny of paid time off if you have a baby. They strip your salary completely and force you to take state benefits for 12 weeks which is not even half of a regular salary. This is embarrassing.
