In 2017, 3M was one of three companies that won the Catalyst Award from Catalyst Inc. for its work to accelerate progress for women in the workplace. 3M was chosen for its “I’m in. Accelerating Women’s Leadership” initiative, leadership development platforms, workplace flexibility, mentoring programs and external community efforts on behalf of women. To extend these efforts even further, in 2018, 3M set a goal of doubling the pipeline of diverse talent in management to build a diverse workforce by 2025.
