Strong, outgoing women can have a place in this organization and female leadership at the Director-Executive level is on the rise. I only wish the organization offered more than the standard 6-8 weeks of maternity leave. The job demands and travel, etc. keep many of us away from the home for many hours a day or overnight so it would be nice if there were more programs in place to promote work-life balance for employees with young families.
