"Accenture really embraces flexible working across the business, whilst some other employers offer flexible working at a surface level. This has made a huge difference when it comes to raising a family."

"While Accenture will publically tell the world that they are working to get women to equal and support your career this is not in fact true for the people who are literally doing the work to put those messages into the industry. The leadership in the NYC office is all women and they do nothing to help other women advance their career. Every move is a powerplay - they are unsupportive in every sense. An ad team that encourages employees to be themselves to make a difference actually does everything to make it so if you have an opinion that is original thought you are immediately seen as uncollaborative. The ad director and CMO have created an environment where their organization constantly feels threatened. Everyone is a resource on the Corporate team and nobody is a person. "

"I believe if you ask for it you can find it, being honest about what you need is important, not everyone wants the same thing. You have to also be honest with yourself, sometimes sacrificing flexibility can result in faster career progression, you have to know what your personal priorities are and be will to make some sacrifices."
