"Inherent to consulting is the monday-thursday travel lifestyle. For me, I can not see myself doing that when I have children. That's not to say there are not many women role models who make it work. The organization, however, has MANY women who have left the 'front line' consulting workforce to go 'internal' and work from home."

"I've been here for almost 9 years. I wish I made myself spend more time in the evenings outside of work to have a life and meet people in particularly men who I could date and have a personal relationship with. I let work take over my life working overtime (and not billing for it) and then being too tired on the weekends to go out and meet someone. Most of this is my own fault, I know, but I definitely will tell my younger self to go out and enjoy life more and take the time to meet someone."
