This is a great stepping stone employer- but if you want to advance your title and pay, you will need to move on. I was given this advice by several colleagues (and one manager) and it has proven to be true. I have seen many talented women who are ready for leadership roles leave after being passed on for a man who in many cases was less qualified and did not know the industry. However, if you are at a point in your life where you are not able to travel, have family commitments and want to be well compensated for a lower level or mid level job, ADP is fantastic. It is a great place to learn new skills and work with smart people. Work life balance is great - and once you've figured out your balance and are ready for more money or more challenges, you will most likely find yourself looking out side of ADP.

In my experience it is a great place to work if you want to stay at your same level and just get your job done. There is challenging work, the people are supportive, and the environment is nice.

Maybe. If the role is in sales then yes. but technology - NO. with the exception of one business Unit ADP is very male focused. Many highly qualified women have been passed over for Sr. Tech jobs and Exec. Jobs. A SVP job remain vacant for months while many highly qualified women were overlooked. There is still a 'good old boys' mentality in Corporate leadership. Titles are not fairly given - those who are doing VP work are not awarded the corresponding title. Many with the title are not doing VP work.

This is a very large company and career advancement is dependent on location. There is potential for growth since the company is focusing on women in leadership at the moment, but again dependent on location and role.

It would be great to have a Leadership Development program for non-sales employees. It is very hard to move into different roles within the organization if you "don't know someone" or are hand picked. The company tends to hire from outside instead of providing training to internal employees that are looking for a career change. I would like to see more opportunities for Hispanic women or within leadership.

It can sometimes be a bit discouraging when upper level employees get more flexibility than associates. We also have the same family needs and flexibility. Upper level are allowed to work from home when emergencies arise but associates are not allowed. It should be same all across.
