"This is a good place to start a nonprofit/education career but look for ways to get more involved if you want a chance at promotion to management, leadership, or national. Getting involved in the CAC community and the community your school is located in helps. Apply to present/speak at the annual summit. Volunteer to represent or host funders or other partners. Ask your PD how to get more involved to stand out. It will not be enough to do great work within your school."
