"Autodesk truly backs its commitments to women with action. There's still a lot of work to be done in diversifying the tech industry, but Autodesk makes it a clear and transparent priority. As a woman working here, I feel like I have the best work/life balance I have ever had in my entire career. We've been working remotely during the pandemic and will have flexibility with that beyond it, which I'm thankful for!"

"You’re paid at 100% of your base salary during the first 90 days. After that, you’re eligible to apply for pay through your long-term disability plan. Your benefits continue at your normal cost during maternity leave."

"Senior leadership is committed to diversity and has recently put women in key roles at the C-staff level. Women make up half of the Board of Directors - a rarity for a public company of this size. Further down in the org, though, there is still work to do to get enough women in management and other strategic roles - especially in technical and engineering teams. "

"Autodesks is an old-school "engineering geek" company that's working to modernize itself. It's making progress, but a lot of the old culture and old ways still exist. Much of the leadership is, unfortunately, still straight white men. Also, our parental leave policies are pretty abysmal for a modern tech company.
On the other hand, the company is very flexible when it comes to things like working from home (it's quite common / readily accepted), hours are generally pretty flexible (though beware of working on a team that has people spread across many time zones), and the work-life balance is good (read: lots of people work 40 hours a week... or less).
On the other hand... promotions, and associated pay increases, are hard to come by.
On the other hand... bonuses (cash & stock) are fairly generous if you're at a higher pay grade (roughly grade 13 and above). Basically my recommendation would be that if you're earlier in your career and are really prioritizing career growth, I would find an awesome start-up, and try to capitalize on the learning and financial upsides that start-ups offer (which are both greater than what you'll get at a company like Autodesk). If you're slightly later in your career, want good pay and good work-life benefits, and are able to nab a higher-grade position, you'll probably be happy at a place like Autodesk."

"As much as Autodesk praises themselves for supporting women, there are still fewer women getting promoted and there is an existing pay gap between women and men."
