"Good company for any Woman employee to work in Cognizant. Though the company is listed in US stock NASDAQ, compensation, overall pay structure and leave benefits can be improved."

"Vacation leave benefits need to be improved. This should be increased from 10 days a year to a minimum of 20 days a year. This will help to spend some valuable time with kids and family. This will be a refreshment to begin and run for the next year. Being a mother of two kids, children will look upon us (mother) to spend quality time with them either at home or an outing with nature."

"The total maternity leave applicable is 12 weeks(6 weeks paid and 6 weeks unpaid). This could be increased to a minimum of 26 weeks (6 months) so that the new mom could spend sometime with the kid, feed mothers milk more frequently at the sametime take care of mothers health in recovering and to prepare and have healthy food and ofcourse take some rest whenever possible."

"Cognizant has great initiatives for Women employees but sometimes it cant be seen being executed at ground level . So I would recommend this place to another woman while asking her to make sure that she raises her voice if she something is going wrong around . "

"Providing flexibility in terms of relocation especially for female employees would help them to stay with their families to fulfill their responsibilities while pursuing their career at the same time .having flexibility at Employer side would really empower women and would bring more women in action and would benefit by leveraging their skills ."
