"I would tell another woman to ask your particular manager about work flexibility because it varies so much within the company. If you work at a large site, like corporate headquarters, you will most likely need to be there every day, or almost every day."

"Compensation can be very good. Promotional opportunities will largely depend upon what group you are in. If you see lots of white male faces in the leadership staff, it is a pretty good indication that you may risk note being seen as capable as you really are. "

"Depending on the team, you can run into "boys club" behavior. Performance evaluations are a joke. No matter how hard you push yourself to meet your goals, management will just say you "met expectations" even if you prove you surpassed expectations. Forget promotions because your boss will just forget your original goals and draw up new ones without considering if you met your original ones. Be prepared to be stuck at your job with little room to grow. "
